We sat down with Sadie and asked a few questions about what it's like working at Spencer Riley.

Q: Why did you join Spencer Riley?

I was initially looking for a degree apprenticeship however the offer to work at Spencer Riley came up, it was local, I liked the young team, and the challenges of a new industry.

Q: Tell us about your Spencer Riley career so far?

Since starting at Spencer Riley, I was challenged to set up my own sector in Medical Aesthetics, looking to recruit Mid- Senior Level candidates. I have really enjoyed working on my own but also love the team building activities and training all together.

Q: What is most rewarding about your role?

Trying to set up my own sector recruiting people in Medical Aesthetics and the chance to earn commission of every successful placement.

Q: What skills, from your previous roles, helped with your transition to recruitment?

I came into recruitment straight from sixth from, so I haven’t had any previous full-time jobs however working part time in customer focused roles has helped me.

Q: What advice would you give someone who wanted a role in recruitment?

You have got to be prepared to work by yourself, be self-motivated and driven but at the same time willing and happy to be part of a bigger team and take part in team social activities which are great fun!

Q: And finally, tell us about your future with Spencer Riley?

I hope to continue to build the Medical Aesthetics sector, make it successful and grow the department, increasing my salary as it grows.
