Key Responsibilities:

  • The position will be focused on identifying customers and key players in the market and create customer intimacy especially with logistics companies, main contractors, consultants and business partners.
  • The sales manager is responsible for logistics systems in the UK and IE and oversees the customer relationship and sales function of the business.
  • To ensure new and existing customer needs are met with the supply of products and services, assessing if enquiries can be met, qualifying opportunities in line with internal governance.
  • Support and meet the company targets for order intake and the as sold margin and supporting this process with market intelligence, strong customer relationships and product confidence.
  • Attend exhibitions, conferences, meetings and training sessions to ensure the information shared in the latest available.
  • Identify relevant trends, either economic, social or environmental that will reflect on the logistics systems business sector. This includes product development trends of customers, competitors, or other effectors.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years in a relevant or similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or Management.
  • Proven experience in system sales, new sales, and cultivating your own market.
  • Experience with Logistics and Sales through tenders is essential.
