Division President

Salary: $220,000 to $275,000 + 70% bonus + additional benefits – depending on experience.

We are currently seeking a Division President to join their growing team. The position will be focused on growing the division in various areas. With this being a newer division there is a big focus on sales and land as well as the operational side so experience across these areas is needed. The region this position covers is Kansas City, Missouri. Experience in the area isn't required but if you are not local relocation would be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that an adequate land supply of available homesites is secured for ongoing homebuilding operations

• Establish the direction and goals for the division and provide leadership through vision, expertise, and example by providing tools necessary to achieve division goals.

• Direct the construction operation through the development and implementation of the standards and specifications as defined by the President and Chief Operating Officer in such areas as construction quality, scheduling, safety, cost establishment, and cost control.

• Direct the sales operation through the sales leader, ensuring that the sales force conducts required follow-up activities, i.e., asking for referrals, cold calls, appointment setting, etc., on a regular basis. Ensure that the sales team manages customer expectations

• Review land and lot acquisitions goals. Review and recommend raw land and lot acquisitions decisions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in homebuilding.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction or a related field (preferred).

• Proven experience in growing and leading a team.

• Willingness to travel when needed.
