Spencer Riley is partnered with an Aircraft Seating Manufacturer, and we are currently seeking a Certification Engineer to join their growing team. The position will be focused on providing expert guidance for both structural and flammability tests on materials – demonstrating compliance with regulations. The resource will report directly to the Head of the Certification Area, will be responsible for contributing to the creation and approval of the technical documentation necessary to comply with the standards imposed by the EASA Certification for seats, demonstrating compliance with regulations and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance for structural and flammability tests on materials and finished products;

• Manage relationships with aviation authorities and coordinate with customer technical staff;

• Participate in design review activities to ensure compliance with regulations and project success criteria.

Qualifications:

• Degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering;

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in aviation certification;

• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulatory requirements, in particular ETSO and CS-25;

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively interpret regulations;

• High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in technical documentation;

• Knowledge of the English language;

• Excellent competence in the MS Office package, in particular MS Excel and Macros in VBA.
