A work anniversary for our Claire Dove
We sat down with Claire and asked her a few extra questions about her time with Spencer Riley.
Q: What was your first impression of Spencer Riley?
A: I really enjoyed meeting our MD, Scott Ellam, when I came for my first interview and I particularly remember the big, welcoming smile from my lovely colleague Laura Wild.
Q: What’s been your favourite part of working at Spencer Riley?
A: Our amazing colleagues.
Q: What does the future hold at Spencer Riley?
A: The future is bright. Spencer Riley is a great company and is going from strength to strength.
Q: Who’s been your biggest inspiration at Spencer Riley?
A: Jackie Parkhill, our Head of Marketing. Jackie came to Spencer Riley from a legal background and had worked at the same law firm for over 2 decades. She slotted into the team as if she had always been here and fully embraced working in a completely different sector.
And now about you……
Q: Nike or Adidas?
A: Neither!
Q: Beer or spirits?
A: Wine…..
Q: Star Wars or Star Trek?
A: It’s got to be Star Wars.
Q: Europe or long haul?
A: Europe, especially to ski.
Q: Favourite place?
A: The Yorkshire Dales or on top of a snow-covered mountain in Austria.
Q: Football, Rugby, or Cricket?
A: I’m not particularly interested in sports in general, but if I had to choose, it would be rugby league.
Q: Favourite team?
A: Leeds Rhinos.
Q: What would you sing at Karaoke?
A: Not singing anything would be my choice.
Q: Ever had a nickname?
A: Bags/Bagsy
Q: How would your friends describe you?
A: Organised (I arrange everything), kind (I hope), a bit of a party animal.
Q: What’s your go-to guilty pleasure?
A: Cheese and crackers.
Q: What 4 people would you have dinner with (living or dead)
A: My grandparents. All 4 were amazing in different ways and I consider myself very lucky to have had them in my life.
