We sat down with Corey and asked him a few extra questions about his time with Spencer Riley.

Q: What was your first impression of Spencer Riley?

A: Exciting - coming into this industry I had no experience and knowledge about what executive search could be. Being taken under the wing of Scott and the 'Adams', I felt at home right away. Everyone was very welcoming and it just made my transition from hospitality to executive search that much easier.

Q: What's been your favourite part of working at Spencer Riley?

A: Exposing myself to a completely new environment, talking to people all around the world and speaking to CEOs and decision makers of multimillion dollar companies and creating amazing relationships with them. Also knowing that I am making a huge difference to people's lives by helping them get their dream positions that they may or may not have realised they were looking for in the first place.

Q: What does the future hold at Spencer Riley?

A: Hopefully to be one of the leaders to help set up an international office (ideally Texas, US). It has always been a dream to work in the USA.

Q: Who's been your biggest inspiration at Spencer Riley?

A: Adam Dowson. He never minds setting out time from his own busy day to help and assist in any way he can. A true fountain of knowledge from his years in this industry and has been an amazing mentor in helping me find my way in this new environment.

And now about you......

Q: Nike or Adidas?

A: Nike for style and Adidas for comfort.

Q: Beer or Spirits?

A: Beers for casual and spirits for a night out.

Q: Star Wars or Star Trek?

A: Star Wars - it's all about the lightsabers - green for me.

Q: Europe or long haul?

A:Europe for summer and Australia for Christmas.

Q: Favourite place?

A: Spain.

Q: Football or Rugby?

A: Football - the real kind.

Q: Favourite Team?

A: Manchester United.

Q: What would you sing at Karaoke?

A: Mr Brightside.

Q: Ever had a nickname?

A: Oggie.

Q: How would your friends describe you?

A: Impulsive, stubborn

Q: What's your go-to guilty pleasure?

A: Galaxy Caramel.

Q: What 4 people would you have dinner with (living or dead)?

A: Gabriel Inglesias (Fluffy) - Comedian, Lee Evans - Comedian, Sir Alex Ferguson, and David Beckham.
