We sat down with Adam and asked him a few extra questions about his time with Spencer Riley.
Q: What was your first impression of Spencer Riley?
A: When joining the company, Spencer Riley had just moved to Leeds and created a fresh new office, in the heart of Leeds with some great people - very welcoming and friendly!
Q: What's been your favourite part of working at Spencer Riley?
A: The positive attitude and friendliness of the team as well as moral support across the business and freedom to flourish in your own markets.
Q: What does the future hold at Spencer Riley?
A: There is a lot of potential to grow within the business - the industry, as a whole, is booming, and personally I am probably the busiest I have ever been in my own markets - so further developments for the business, as well as my own career, is limitless.
Q: Who's been your biggest inspiration at Spencer Riley?
A: Biggest inspiration - I would have to say myself. That may sound odd, but I am very self-motivated and aware that you get out what you put in. From learning from some very self-motivated people in the industry - you have to motivate and inspire yourself to succeed. Learning from your own mistakes and understanding that not giving up will make you very successful.
And now about you......
Q: Nike or Adidas?
A: If you would have asked me a few years - I was Adidas 100% - boots, trainers, clothing - but Nike recently has completely changed my mind - and I buy products much more now.
Q: Beer or spirits?
A: Spirits - beer tastes horrific and makes me very bloated!
Q: Star Wars or Star Trek?
A: Star Wars - 100% - no question.
Q: Europe or long haul?
A: Europe for short stays. Long haul for more sun (but I burn - must be in the genes - ouch!).
Q: Favourite place?
A: Always wanted to go to Cuba and South Africa but St Kitts and Nevis is the best place I have ever visited personally.
Q: Football, Rugby, or Cricket?
A: Football, although rugby league is also enjoyable to watch when footballers aren't falling on the floor from the wind blowing them over.
Q: Favourite team?
A: England 😜 - football and rugby league.
Q: What would you sing at Karaoke?
A: Absolutely nothing - haha but, if I had to, probably REM - Losing my Religion.
Q: Ever had a nickname?
A: Garvey/Rooney.
Q: How would your friends describe you?
A: Short/positive/loving/soft inside, hard outside.
Q: What's your go-to guilty pleasure?
A: Crime dramas.
Q: What 4 people would you have dinner with (living or dead)
A: My fiancé (she cooks a banging meal), David Beckham, Angelina Jolie, and Martin Luther King.
